DIVISION : Business and Industry Interns work directly with Deputy Attorney Generals on substantive legal matters. Projects may include researching and writing memorandums, legal briefs, motions, interrogatories, assisting with preparation for trial, witness interviews, document organization, and other tasks as assigned by a supervisor. Those interns who qualify for certification by the Nevada Supreme Court for training in the practice of law under Supreme Court Rule are encouraged to do so. The assignments will be meaningful and give students a real opportunity to be exposed to current legal issues. Interns may also have an opportunity to visit the courts and observe court hearings and mediations under the supervision of a Deputy Attorney General. Applicants should have strong research and writing skills.
