Bilingual Legal Assistant Duties: Providing administrative support to a team of paralegals and attorneys; Scanning, mailing, and copying immigration petitions; Preparing legal correspondence for attorney and paralegal review; Providing back-up phone coverage; Performing data entry in immigration software system; Creating and maintaining reports; and Other administrative duties as requested by Firm Administrator, attorneys, and paralegals.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Must speak and write fluent Spanish. 2+ years’ experience in a law firm setting and 1+ of those years in Immigration Law. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and good typing/data entry skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and composure. Ability to work well in teams and with little supervision. Highly organized and able to prioritize. Ability to always provide quality work. Flexible and highly resourceful. Experience with INSZoom or similar case management system.
