Medical Record Review Analyst Responsibilities and Duties: Independently review orientation modules and takes personal responsibility for learning the materials and use of materials as a resource during the review process. Understand the basics and complexities of the GRG settlement administration process. Provide legal and medical documentation review support and implements program protocols for designated class action settlement. Accurately and efficiently enter information into software applications of evidence findings in accordance with program protocols. Work as a team member to meet critical weekly and monthly deadlines. Communicate pro-actively and collaboratively with project leadership. Regularly participate in meetings and is dependable as an internal resource. Effective communication skills: written, oral, listening. Ability to reason independently and recommend specific solutions in performance of legal and medical document review. Recognize when processes can be enhanced and convey this information to project leadership. Possess strong analytical skills. Able to accurately apply the content gathered from the medical records to the program protocols. Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to constant change in a fast paced environment. Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should be registered nurse with medical record review, utilization experience (e.g. HEDIS) or Paralegal with mass tort, personal injury, disability or social security experience. Experience with review of voluminous records. Ability to understand and interpret content of medical records. Excellent communication skills (reading, writing, and active listening). Must be teachable and coachable. Strong internal and external client service skills. Strong analytical, critical thinking, research and writing skills. Extensive problem solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Fluent typing, and data entry skills. Proficient time management skills and ability to shift priorities as required.
