Administrative Law Judge - Tax Qualified The candidate presides over a variety of administrative adjudications, including state tax appeals (such as oil and gas production tax) and cases involving complex economic regulation.
Qualification and Experience
Minimum qualifications: Currently licensed to practice law in Alaska; AND Licensed to practice law in Alaska for 2 years; AND 4 years of professional experience as a tax attorney, a certified public accountant practicing in the area of tax, or a tax administrator. The ideal candidate should have significant litigation experience, have proven ability to analyze complex legal and factual issues under time constraints, and will have excellent legal writing skills. The ideal candidate must also be a member in good standing of the Alaska Bar Association.
