Manager / Counsel – Operations and Technology - International Legal Operations The candidate will assist the Operations Director and Sr. Counsel - International Legal Operations () in facilitating the smooth functioning of the Department by monitoring and tracking progress on Operations initiatives, technology projects, internal department communications, managing cross regional and special projects. Will report to the Operations Director and Sr Counsel, . In collaboration with Legal Operations’ department, Legal IT and teams, design and manage processes and technologies to positively impact efficiency and effectiveness, including internal IT solutions, policies, and all processes related to legal templates. Responsible for maintenance of IT systems, including legal services request and matter management tools, SharePoint, etc. Keep up to date on all newest technologies, legal systems, and any other related tools that may benefit the business. Drive knowledge management and process improvement initiatives, including legal cost optimization initiatives. Assist with global projects and integration efforts in global acquisitions, including knowledge management and knowledge transfer initiatives. Preparing metrics reports and dashboards. Responding to routine inquiries regarding legal processes and use of systems. Assist in crafting and implementing Operations policies, processes and trainings. Gather and provide legal responses to RFPs, vendor questionnaires and other requests for legal information.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree, JD degree is preferred. 5-7 years of related work experience is essential. Legal or compliance experience is preferred. Experience with large-scale legal project/program development, change management and business process re-engineering initiatives, international experience is preferred. Excellent problem solving skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skill is essential. Strong project management and coordination skill is essential. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including OneNote and SharePoint is essential.
