Duties:
Conduct client consultations and provide legal guidance on estate planning, probate, and guardianship matters.
Draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, guardianship applications, and probate filings.
Oversee estate planning executions and ensure compliance with relevant legal regulations.
Represent clients in court hearings and legal proceedings related to probate and guardianship.
Supervise and collaborate with paralegals to efficiently manage case workflow.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of estate planning and probate laws to provide informed legal counsel.
Requirements:
Admission to the New York State Bar.
Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.
Education:
Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
New York Notary Public certification (preferred).
