A law firm seeks a Technical Transactions / Cyber Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of experience to join its Clayton office. This role is ideal for candidates with a versatile intellectual property (IP) background, including technology licensing, trade secrets, trademarks, copyright protection, privacy compliance, and exposure to tech-centric general corporate matters.

Duties

• Manage technology licensing and commercial transactions
• Handle trade secrets, trademarks, copyright protection, and brand management
• Advise on privacy compliance, including privacy policies and data protection agreements
• Participate in general corporate matters, including initial formation and contract negotiation
• Collaborate effectively within a team

Requirements

• Strong academic credentials
• Exceptional analytical and writing skills
• Outstanding interpersonal abilities
• Active law license in good standing

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) preferred but not required

Skills

• Proven self-starter with a proactive approach
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
• Technical or engineering background is a plus
