Nurse Paralegal The candidate work for a long term contract. Prepare full summaries/chronologies of client's medical and injury history as instructed. The Nurse Paralegal will consult on every case that has a medical component. Review client medical records and perform comprehensive chart reviews to determine relevancy and identify proof of injury through physician diagnosis. Identify additional information and complete assigned tasks as instructed. The Nurse Paralegal may be asked to interview clients who have medical problems, possibly examine those clients and give expert testimony to the state of their health in court. Will analyze and create organization of medical records by tabulation and indexing of records. Seek and continuously develop knowledge and information about current regulations and trends by research and investigation of information to enable appropriate reporting. Should have 5-10 years of experience as a nurse paralegal. Must have a nursing license. RN/BSN License, and/or Nurse consultant, paralegal or equivalent experience required. Must have demonstrated experience reviewing detailed medical records from hospitals, pharmacies and private medical offices. Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Should have understanding of current best practices and experience in researching medical data using preferred databases and governmental sites. Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
