Duties : Under the general supervision of the Legal Administrator and with work specifically delegated by an attorney, the Paralegal performs paraprofessional legal duties that pertain to civil litigation. Conducts legal research. Drafts legal documents including court pleadings and motions, settlement agreements, and other contracts. Assists attorneys in case preparation. Prepares and performs court filings. Conducts investigations to authenticate or validate information. Interviews relevant witnesses. Obtains photographs, documents, and other physical evidence from third parties. Organizes and analyzes discovery materials. Prepares reports to assist an attorney in case preparation. Performs administrative tasks.

Qualification and Experience

Qualification : Must have Completion of an accredited paralegal training program AND 1+ year of experience working in a law office or law department. Applicants who meet the above requirements AND have an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university are preferred.
