Duties:
- Drafting and prosecuting patent applications for electrical, mechanical, and software technologies.
- Focusing on high-profile clients, especially in the 5G and wireless technology sectors.
- Collaborating closely with clients to provide counseling and guidance on intellectual property strategies.
- Utilizing proprietary automation software to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
- Managing and advancing patent portfolios with minimal supervision.
- Ensuring high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail.
- Contributing to a team-oriented environment with a focus on success and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in patent prosecution, specifically in electrical, mechanical, or software technologies.
- Hands-on experience with 5G and wireless technologies is preferred.
- A technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field.
- USPTO registration is required.
- Former patent examiner experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to continue learning and growing in the field.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
Certifications:
- USPTO Registration is required.
