Litigation Paralegal The candidate perform responsible executive level duties, including the preparation of a variety of legal and non-legal documents. The following list represents some of the essential functions of the position, but assignments may vary: Case Management; Tracking Documents - calculate and manage deadlines; Review and summarize case files; Request insurance policies and medical records; Review medical billing and prepare medical bill summaries; Prepare pre-suit demand packets; Review, draft and e-file legal documents such as discovery responses, motions, orders and other pleadings; Legal Research; Input billing for daily activity; Assist in the preparation of exhibits for trial. Provide trial support. Should understand legal terminology and procedures. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook is required. Experience using specialized legal case management (ATO or similar) is highly desirable.
