Attorney, Network Contracting
The candidate will draft agreements that minimize risks and represent firm’s business goals. Leverage legal skill-set to ensure advantageous contract language and negotiations with vendors and providers. Maintain updated network contract templates, regulatory appendices, and payment appendices. Keep abreast of legislative and regulatory changes in provider networking and applicable care delivery topics for both Individual and Family Plans and Medicare Advantage. Perform legal/regulatory research to support network operational activities. Deal with complex, significant matters that cut across legal and related areas. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have JD degree. Licensed to practice law is required. 4+ years of increasing responsibility is critical. In-house experience is preferred. Health insurance, Medicare, contracting (in particular network contracting), consumer product experience is a plus. Must have an active, unrestricted license to practice law in the state of Minnesota.
