Legal Assistant The candidate will provide administrative and clerical support to the in-house attorneys and paralegals of the Legal group. Draft cover letters and answer phones. Schedule meetings with multiple participants with complex calendars. Schedule travel and prepare expense reports. Assist paralegals with projects with regulatory filings, including prospectuses and compiling materials for Board meetings. Track and keep a record of company contracts, policies and agreements. Prepare documents for various committee meetings. Serve as back-up to the other Legal Assistants. Must have Bachelor's degree. Should have 5+ years of direct work experience working at a law firm or supporting senior attorneys. Experience with document management systems is required. Experience with online expense reporting and travel toolsine. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is must. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) is essential.
