Assistant United States Attorney The candidate will prosecute federal criminal cases in the District. Will advise federal law enforcement agents on criminal investigations, present criminal cases to the grand jury, try criminal cases before the United States District Court, and may represent the United States in criminal appeals before the Circuit Court of Appeals. Handle a variety of significant and complex criminal prosecutions. Should have a J.D. degree, be an active member of the Bar (any US jurisdiction), and have 3+ years of post-J.D. legal or other relevant experience. 1 to 5 nights of travel required per month may be required.
