Lease Administrator The candidate will manage all aspects of the lease administration job function to insure a seamless, consistent and accurate product to assigned clients. Will ensure data integrity of assigned portfolio by performing quality reviews of third-party abstractor's work product. Supervises desk reviews of all landlord charges to ensure compliance with the lease and acts as the liaison to the client for discussion of the Lease Administrators findings, as well as the landlord contact for negotiating a resolution of OPEX and RET reconciliation challenges. Act as a contact for client and landlords for assigned portfolios and works closely with Corporate Solutions Account Managers or lead brokers to provide timely responses to portfolio questions that may arise. Interpret complex commercial lease language and attend to details. Prepare monthly rental payment schedules for major retail, office and industrial tenants with sizeable portfolios. Reconcile accounts with outstanding balances and work with Landlords and clients to resolve any disputes. Coordinate information among departments.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should preferably have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, real estate, or similar field. Must have 3+ years of relevant experience in the commercial real estate lease administration industry and/or paralegal, accounting or property management fields having worked in either (or both) the Landlord or Tenant sector. Working experience with commercial real estate database applications such as ProLease, Harbor Flex or Virtual Premise and accounting software such as MRI or Yardi or other lease management database systems is required.
