Paralegal Candidate will be responsible for managing a heavy case load which includes Drafting and Reviewing Documents and Pleadings, Tracking and Monitoring files, Maintaining Calendars and Deadlines, providing Status Updates, and Legal Research.

Qualification and Experience

REQUIREMENTS: Must have an Associate’s Degree, Paralegal Certificate or relevant work experience. Must be highly organized. Knowledge of Foreclosure, Bankruptcy and/or Collection processes. Background in Real Estate helpful. Strong attention to detail. Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence and professionalism. Communicate effectively and professionally (verbal and written). Must be dependable and hardworking team player. Ability to effectively organize, plan, and prioritize work. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Meet established production goals and quality requirements as set by management. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other business support software. Knowledge of Case Aware a plus. Requires a high level of Attention to Detail, excellent Computer Skills, and Strong Customer Service.

The workload is very high and that causes a very high turnover rate. The firm would really benefit in doing things that could help alleviate the workload that people are given. Sometimes there is just too much to do and too little time to do it. It can be very stressful.

Pros : Everyone here is truly wonderful people. All the attorneys consider one another friends. Even the paralegals are treated very well. Everyone respects everyone. The comradery is truly amazing. People work together without stepping on anyone else's toes. The pay is great as well. There's a firm match 401k plan and really competitive salaries.
Cons : There is a very high workload which causes a lot of people to look for work elsewhere. The turnover rate is very high and we tend to spend a lot of time training their replacements. This is very stressful. People tend to quit in times that our workload is high and that gives us even more workload. It's very tense.
