Legal Practice Assistant Duties: Reception, including regional office telephone and e-mail. Meeting, teleconference, and other event planning, scheduling, management, and follow-up. Preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes. Travel arrangements. Expense reimbursement and assistance with billing. Facilities maintenance, including tracking, ordering, and occasional local pick-up of supplies. Videoconference and routine IT assistance. Updating and maintaining electronic files. Assistance with recruiting, onboarding, and other personnel matters. Other tasks, as assigned. Needs may vary, and duties cannot be listed exhaustively in advance.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent years of experience. Experience with Microsoft Office programs, Adobe, and financial databases and spreadsheets. Office management experience or training is a plus. Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new technologies (Microsoft Office programs, Adobe, financial databases and spreadsheets). A team player with a professional, can-do attitude to all tasks, large and small. Meticulous attention to detail and an unrelenting commitment to high performance standards. The ability to organize, set priorities among multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and function calmly under pressure. Flexible, punctual, and highly reliable. Demonstrates an awareness and sensitivity to the needs and concerns of individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds and orientations. Contributes to the creation of a diverse, equitable and inclusive work culture that encourages and celebrates differences.
