Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant Duties: Filing on Odyssey, PeachCourt, and mail-filing pleadings; Responding to discovery; Drafting pleadings (complaints, discovery, motions, notices, etc.) Client communication & new client intake (phone, email, text); Preparing settlement statements and correspondence related to settlement; Trial preparation (organizing exhibits, evidence, testimony, etc.) Gathering medical records; Following up with healthcare providers re: records, bills, etc. Gathering evidence, witness information, photographs, etc. Scheduling client meetings, depositions, and other general scheduling-related tasks. Summarizing medical treatment by reviewing medical records.

Qualifications: College education or paralegal certificate. 1+ years' with a personal injury practice or insurance defense law firm in Georgia. Self-motivated, and transparent. Eager to learn, with a positive attitude. Spanish speaking a plus Organized Refined attention to detail. Tech-savvy: Our firm runs off Adobe Pro, Dropbox, and Microsoft word. Virtually a paperless office.
