Corporate Paralegal Responsibilities: support chief compliance officer on all legal matters including partnership/sponsorship contracts, agreements, due diligence, document organization and m&a activity. Organize incoming legal requests from team, partners and portfolio and ensure project deadlines are met according to priority. Manage legal document organization and maintenance required by the company for all portfolio companies.Review agreements and documents related to prospective companies and portfolio company investment participation rights. Research startup financing and legal trends and changes in healthcare law to best advise portfolio companies.

Qualification and Experience

Qualification: 2-6 years of experience paralegal or legal assistant at a law firm or in-house. Corporate and transactional law experience, health law and/or IP experience a plus. Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, prioritize work and manage a high volume workload with minimal supervision. Ability to exhibit sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.Ability to communicate with people at all levels in an organization and with outside counsel, including communicating complicated concepts to founders and senior leadership.
