Duties:

• Analyze complex general liability issues and provide sound legal advice.
• Communicate regularly with claims professionals to discuss case developments and strategies.
• Document all communications and maintain detailed case records.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, including motions and other legal documents.
• Conduct depositions and engage in motion practice.
• Assist in resolving cases efficiently, utilizing problem-solving skills and legal knowledge.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and trial settings as necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies and resolutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in general liability law.
• Proven ability to analyze legal issues and provide clear, effective communication.
• Experience preparing pleadings, conducting depositions, and engaging in motion practice.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the New York Bar.

Education:

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New York Bar.
