Paralegal II The candidate will review, process and file a variety of legal documents. Will conduct research using Westlaw. Draft legal documents and correspondences. Search legal reference files and other sources for information and data. Manually cite check and fact check various documents. Edit, manually cite check and Shepardize briefs, memoranda and other legal documents using proper blue-book form. Draft, review and edit court-required administrative record for specific investigations in preparation for filing. Proficiently use Microsoft Office to prepare and edit documents. Prepare draft notices of appearance, certificates of service and various procedural motions for filing with the courts. Prepare briefs according to specific court rules for filing, including drafting the tables of contents and authorities. Maintain case files and work in a variety of databases. Must have a Paralegal Certificate or higher. Associates degree or higher preferred. Should have 5+ years relevant experience in an office setting. Must have extensive paralegal experience, preferably in a federal agency that deal with trade. Should have previous paralegal experience must include manual cite-checking of various documents.
