Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA) Litigation
The candidate will be responsible to prepare legal correspondence, documents, pleadings, and discovery. Review and redact documents. Complete court filings using ECF (electronic court filing), state and federal. Maintain attorney calendars and contact information, manage spreadsheets and timelines while managing new developments and deadlines in multiple cases. Submit expense reimbursements, payments, maintain related spreadsheets. Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and other support staff. Manage and prioritize projects to meet various deadlines. Ability to work within scheduling constraints handling multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Assist in trial preparation of expert material, depositions, exhibits and documents. Collaborate and work in a team setting. Other duties as requested.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have 3– 5 years legal administrative experience, litigation experience. Some college, college degree or legal administrative certificate is preferred. Law firm experience is required. Knowledge of litigation legal procedures, timelines, and legal terminology is necessary. Excellent document review and proofreading, spelling and grammar skills are required. Should be proficient using Microsoft Office 2016 (Word, Outlook, Excel). Experience with iManage is beneficial.
