Labor, Military & Veterens Affairs Attorney The candidate will handle all phases of administrative litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and appeals. Must possess superior analytical and writing skills and must have an interest in drafting, editing, and testifying on legislation. Should have 3 professional employment references. The candidate will primarily represent and advise the following Divisions at the Department of Labor and Workforce Development: Labor Standards and Safety; Employment and Training Services; and Vocational Rehabilitation. Will help with a range of other matters handled by the section, such as labor relations, employment, and general advice to the Department of Administration. Must be able to work independently, have excellent judgment and strong client relation skills, and be able to manage competing deadlines. Should be able to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with public agencies, state officials, the public, and their colleagues, and enjoy being part of a team.
