Location:
Duties:
- Represent institutional and private lenders in real estate finance matters
- Work on a variety of real estate transactions including affordable housing loans, acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing
- Collaborate with a team of experienced real estate attorneys and paraprofessionals
- Provide legal advice and support to clients including national and regional banks, private lenders, debt funds, CDFIs, and local developers
- Engage in negotiation, drafting, and reviewing real estate financing documents
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
- Contribute to the firm’s ongoing business development efforts
Requirements:
- 3-7 years of real estate finance experience, with an emphasis on lender-side finance
- Significant experience representing institutional and private lenders
- Experience with affordable housing loans, acquisitions, dispositions, or leasing is a plus, but not required
- California Bar admission required
- Strong academic background, preferably from a top law school or firm with a comparable real estate practice
- Proven ability to handle complex transactions and provide strategic advice
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work collaboratively within a team
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
