Team Manager Responsibilities: Manage team of 2-3 onsite immigration representatives to ensure adherence to quality, standards, deadlines, and proper procedures. Manage and oversee teamâ€™s work and productivity. Ensure compliance for SLAs for onsite and practice teams. Provide direction, communication, and guidance to team on adherence to client and BAL policies and procedures.. Motivate, develop, and direct team.. Identify, assess, and appropriately assign tasks based on abilities. Train and instruct team in job duties and client policies, or arrange for training to be provided. Identify and encourage professional/career development of team. Conduct performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and hiring, in conjunction with Partner or Practice Manager. Resolve client complaints regarding work performance and service levels. Work with client to support, manage and/or implement projects from initiation to implementation. Regularly engage in report generation for client. Assess client needs and make recommendations in response to client and practice needs. Work with onsite team and practice teams to identify and correct errors and problems. Work with onsite and practice teams to create or update protocols, procedures, and policies, including training materials. Build and maintain effective working relationships across the organization. Act as a liaison between practice teams and client to develop and implement projects. Work with Partner and Practice Manager to review areas of improvement and implement efficiencies.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelorâ€™s degree. 2 yearsâ€™ experience as a Lead / Supervising Immigration Paralegal. Demonstrated mastery of Lead Paralegal skills and abilities. Proven ability to be the â€œGo Toâ€ person on team. Ability to communicate with diplomacy and tact. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals at all organizational levels. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups. Ability to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely by others. Ability and willingness to share knowledge in a helpful manner. Demonstrated willingness to take on additional responsibilities and challenges. Excellent program and project management experience. Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Acute attention to detail. Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions. Creative, flexible, and innovative team player. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
