Job Overview: A well-established law firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney specializing in insurance defense litigation. This role offers the opportunity to manage cases in the areas of trucking, transportation, construction defects, and premises liability. The firm is looking for candidates with a strong background in litigation who can represent clients in a variety of legal matters. The position is ideal for attorneys with 1-5 years of relevant experience and a passion for providing strategic legal counsel while maintaining strong client relationships.

Duties:

• Represent clients in court proceedings and legal hearings
• Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Provide counsel on business transactions and legal issues
• Engage in settlement negotiations and dispute resolution
• Conduct investigations to support case strategies
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and industry regulations
• Maintain detailed case reports and updates for clients

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation
• Prior experience in trucking, transportation, construction, and premises liability litigation is preferred
• Litigation experience in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or New York (at least 3 years)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar
• Admission to or willingness to become admitted in New Jersey or New York

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania's local legal practices and court procedures
