ProfileCorporate Paralegal, Board Support The candidate as may be working with multiple groups within the Legal Department, internal clients across company, and external parties. As a Corporate Paralegal for Board Support, work on a range of public company and corporate/finance legal matters. Assist with Alphabet's Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) and governance obligations. Assist with the drafting of Board and Committee meeting materials, resolutions and minutes, and also serve as primary point of contact for Board members and their executive administrators. Additionally will manage the Board portal and related Director and Executive trainings, liaise with vendor and IT staff regarding portal support, maintain the Board calendar and schedule recurring and one-off Board and Committee meetings. File forms, records and proxy statements. Be responsible for all aspects of Alphabetâ€™s Board of Directors and Committee meetings. Coordinate Alphabetâ€™s Director and Officer Questionnaire process. Support Alphabetâ€™s compliance and certification activities relating to various corporate policies. Assist with the due diligence requests from the companyâ€™s independent auditors in connection with ongoing litigation requests.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelorâ€™s degree or equivalent practical experience. 6 years of corporate paralegal experience is required. Must have experience working with board members and high-level executives. Demonstrated understanding of company products and the broader technology industry is preferred.
