Summer Internship The student will serve as Tenants' Rights Unit Intern. Will provide extensive exposure to Housing Court litigation. Should be available to travel to courthouses in different boroughs, especially Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan. Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in Spanish, Russian or another prevalent language. A full-time commitment of 10 weeks (usually commencing the Tuesday after Memorial Day and ending early August) is required. Interns will have the opportunity to participate in comprehensive training that covers the breadth of civil legal services practice in New York City. Should have excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, and a strong commitment to public interest law. Application Period: December 1 to March 31
