Duties:

  • Draft a variety of estate planning documents, including wills, revocable living trusts, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and more.
  • Develop integrated estate plans for business owners, executives, and entrepreneurs.
  • Advise clients on estate planning, tax strategies, and business planning, including family limited partnerships and LLCs.
  • Handle income, estate, and gift tax planning, asset protection, and disability planning for clients.
  • Draft and negotiate prenuptial and co-tenancy agreements.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure efficient project workflow and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) with at least 3 years of experience in estate planning or related fields.
  • Admitted to the Georgia Bar and in good standing.
  • Experience in a private practice environment with billable hour targets or production-based goals.
  • Knowledge of taxation, including individual, trust, and small business taxation, as well as liability protection strategies.
  • Solid understanding of estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.
  • Ability to manage complex issues and propose effective solutions.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Georgia Bar Admission required.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
