ProfileAdministrative Assistant / Legal Secretary The candidate will perform a variety of responsible assignments involving legal secretarial and clerical support activities for the Prosecuting Attorney. Prepares, organizes and maintains computer and paper files for such department functions as personnel transactions, legal forms/briefs, correspondence, reports, statistics and related organizational materials. Researches and compiles information pertaining to current issues of concern to the Prosecuting Attorney. Utilizes current county-wide and/or department specific software to complete assignments. Considerable knowledge of laws and procedures pertaining to the operations of the department is preferred. Must be a high school graduate or have a certificate of successful completion of the General Education Development Test. Should have 5+ years of work experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or Law Clerk.
