ProfileParalegal The candidate will join highly respected and successful business and personal injury practice team. The paralegal will work closely with a senior litigator and associate attorney, as well as have substantial direct contact with clients. Must be able to work independently with little direction, but also be a team player and have good written and verbal communication skills. Additional qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Attention to detail and strong planning, organization and time-management skills are critical. Will support the practice by assisting with substantive legal work as well as administrative tasks. The work can be fast-paced, with a lot of variety. Responsibilities include calendaring, docketing, preparation and editing of pleadings, discovery, subpoenas and correspondence, filing pleadings, managing files, review of medical and billing records, summarizing depositions, as well as performing other related duties. Require 3+ years of litigation experience.
