Construction Associate
Duties: Focused on effectively and efficiently representing national and international middle-market and larger business clients with high-quality personalized service. Full-service practices include real estate, construction, corporate & securities, corporate investigations, litigation, labor & employment, intellectual property, tax, retail, bankruptcy and corporate restructuring, immigration, co-op and condominium law, not-for-profit and education, and a thriving international practice with a focus on China and Italy, among other areas.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must be admitted in New York. Will have 4-5 years of experience in construction law, including litigation and alternative dispute resolution with significant experience in drafting and negotiating construction agreements and license agreements. The ideal candidate will also have substantial knowledge and experience with mechanics liens, lien foreclosure cases, and construction defect claims. Must have demonstrated excellence in writing, legal analysis, and negotiation skills. We seek candidates with a solid academic background and excellent interpersonal skills. Must have the flexibility to juggle multiple cases, work under tight deadlines and operate in a fast-paced environment.
