Location:

Duties:

  • Manage a variety of family law cases such as divorce, child custody, support, visitation, and paternity
  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients, guiding them through the family court system
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and briefs
  • Conduct legal research on family law issues and stay updated on current laws and regulations
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure seamless client representation
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering ongoing legal support
  • Participate in business development activities to help grow the firm's family law practice

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing family law
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive client information
  • Proficiency in legal research databases and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a legal team

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Washington State

Skills:
