The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with a Delaware license considered a plus. Duties:
- Assist partners in handling general liability and medical malpractice cases.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Participate in trial preparation and provide support throughout the litigation process.
- Communicate with clients, providing case updates and legal counsel.
- Work independently and collaboratively to manage case files and meet court deadlines.
Requirements:
- Active licenses to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
- Delaware Bar admission is preferred but not required.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience or interest in general liability and medical malpractice defense.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active Bar membership in Pennsylvania and New Jersey (Delaware preferred but not required).
