Title Abstractor Candidate will perform title abstracting work. Under the direction of an attorney, conduct searches of public records, examine titles, and summarize information with regards to deeds, leases and other documents. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills; organizational skills; computer skills; attention to detail, as well as the ability to convey information effectively; and work efficiently with a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multi-task and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and platting programs (NetDeed Plotter, etc.) required. Will demonstrate strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new skills and retain information. Experience with abstracting mineral titles in West Virginia and Ohio is preferred.
