The ideal candidate will have two to six years of experience in commercial real estate leasing and general transactional work. The role will involve working on various real estate matters, including development, acquisitions, joint ventures, and zoning. Duties:

  • Handle commercial real estate leasing and transactional work, including development and acquisitions.
  • Work on joint ventures, zoning, and land development approvals.
  • Manage real estate finance transactions and cross-border deals.
  • Assist with drafting and negotiating commercial real estate agreements.
  • Participate in national and global real estate projects and client matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on complex real estate transactions.
  • Assume increasing levels of responsibility, including direct client interaction.

Requirements:

  • 2 to 6 years of experience in commercial real estate leasing and transactional work.
  • Ability to manage complex real estate matters independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to high-quality client service.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted and in good standing to practice law in New York (required).

  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
