Seeking a Associate Attorney – Litigation with 1+ years of substantive experience in litigation. Candidate will be an integral member of one of the region’s leading litigation practice teams, which provides a full spectrum of litigation services to local, regional, and national businesses in both the public and private sectors. Will work directly with the chair of the practice group and other shareholders. Should have litigation experience with legal research, analysis, and drafting of complex memoranda as well as motions and briefs. Should also have strong litigation skills, including some trial and pre-trial experience, as well as experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, and counseling clients on matters related to litigation. Outstanding academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Texas licensure is required. New Mexico licensure is a plus. A federal district court or circuit court of appeals clerkship is treated with credit toward Shareholder. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills and ties to the Borderplex Region are desirable.
