ODC Intake Analyst I The candidate will be working collaboratively with the other ODC Intake Analyst, to review, analyze and process public inquiries and grievances on a wide-range of questions, including questions about public discipline against licensed legal professionals and the Washington Supreme Court’s discipline system. Facilitate resolution of disputes between licensed legal professionals and their clients with or without grievances being filed; to communicate and coordinate with other departments on matters relating to discipline; and to otherwise analyze and process grievance information to support the Intake team and ODC. The objective is to address as many concerns as possible without the filing of a grievance, to communicate effectively about the purpose of the discipline system, to maintain the integrity of the discipline database, and to contribute to the efficiency and fairness of handling grievances against licensed legal professionals. Serves the public and serves the membership by accurately and efficiently responding to disciplinary inquiries and resolving disputes.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have A.A. degree or equivalent. Should preferable working toward or a completed Bachelor's degree. Should have telephone customer service. Must have 2 years of general office experience including use of database. Should preferable have Law office experience, use of document management system, paralegal certificate or degree. Must have excellent communication skills. Good writing skills are required. Should have internet and database research skills and ability to learn new software applications. Mediation skills are required. Ability to speak Spanish is beneficial.
