ProfileRisk Analyst The candidate supports Risk Manager regarding all aspects of business unit insurance programs. Responsibilities include compilation of underwriting information and coverage placement, loss forecasting, and analysis to assist in loss reduction. Support Bid and Specification Reviews and Analysis. Coordinate and assist Project Specific Insurance Placements. Analyze legal or insurance contracts, including liability and insurance clauses with contracts to identify, control and manage risk exposures. Identify the exposures to loss and the development and implementation of appropriate risk mitigation and loss control strategies. Analyze Loss Data/Loss Runs and Incident Reports. Maintain historical and active Projects list including insurance information. Update and maintain schedules for insurance policies and renewals including fleet, property and equipment. Coordinate with business partners to maintain those schedules. Coordinate and Track policy extensions especially for Builders’ Risk policies. Support risk management audit/inspection activities and compliance with risk management policies. Provide project support to and generally assist other personnel in Risk Management. Perform contract reviews and other day to day support to Risk Mgmt. Support the preparation of insurance renewal applications using RIMS. Help to maintain and manage RIMS. Support the administration of various property and casualty insurance programs, including the management of insurance policies and other insurance documents. Support the preparation of insurance renewal application, including the collection, compilation, and analysis of exposure information. Support risk management audit/inspection activities and compliance with risk management policies. Support Risk Mgmt.’s relationships with various internal and external business partners including insurers, insurance brokers, vendors, TPAs and consultants. Identify, evaluate, and implement “best practice” Risk Management Techniques. Assist and Support Contract Reviews for subcontractors, vendors. Assist and Support RM training activities.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 3-5 years of experience in contracts or insurance. Should preferably have College education. Paralegal is highly desired. Ability to retain and process large amounts of technical information is required. Experience in Civil Construction, Public Works, Legal or Insurance Agency work is preferred. Insurance certificates and/or classes such as Associate in General Insurance, CPCU is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft office products including excel, powerpoint, word is must. Experience in relation data base and P-vault (records imaging) software is helpful.
