Our busy and growing law firm focused on California's legal cannabis industry seeks a mid-to-senior level associate to support the firm's clients on a wide array of transactional and regulatory matters, including financings, commercial transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have three to six years' broad-based transitional experience, particularly with emerging growth companies. However, in light of the broad range of services our clients need, and the ever-changing demands of the cannabis industry, having specific subject matter expertise is less important than being a quick study, an effective collaborator, and a willing learner. We value strong academic backgrounds but also understand there is more than one route to being an excellent attorney. If you think the soul has been sucked from the Bay Area technology scene, and want to apply your talents to an new industry filled with interesting characters and wide-open opportunities, we might be the place for you. Please submit a resume and cover letter to be considered.
