Duties:
- Manage all phases of litigation, including initial investigations and written discovery
- Conduct depositions and retain expert witnesses
- Participate in mediation and settlement negotiations
- Draft and argue pre-trial motions and submissions
- Prepare for and represent clients at trial
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies
- Draft dispositive motions and other legal documents
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
- Experience in areas such as employment discrimination, wrongful termination, catastrophic personal injury, civil rights, premises liability, commercial disputes, and insurance defense
- Strong legal writing skills, particularly with dispositive motions
- Ability to handle complex litigation and work collaboratively within a team
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
- Admission to the California State Bar
