Paralegal The candidate will report to the Americas Employment Law Lead and be part of the global employment and immigration law team. Will manage and track the progress of various projects including handling subpoenas and requests for employment records, and assisting with ongoing immigration law matters. Collaborating and working with other departments, management, and senior leadership to address and resolve legal matters. Conduct legal research; monitor state and local employment law development that impact organizational policy; analyze data and reports for the employment and immigration law team. Work regularly with teams across the globe. Manage, track various projects and prepare and assist with monthly billing and reporting requirements. Analyze data and reports for the employment and immigration law team; monitor electronic inboxes for inquiries and new matters; open and maintaining case files in a case management database. Tasks may also include version control of guidance documents; assistance with the preparation of guidance documents; monitoring deadlines. Assists with related processes and procedures to support the Company’s immigration and compliance. Assists in developing best practices. Supports invoice reconciliation and monitoring of fees related to filings. Other legal and administrative projects as needed.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Must have 3+years of relevant work experiences. Should have recognized paralegal certification. Relevant law office experience is preferred. Proficiency with Serengeti, or similar case management database is preferred. Excellent analytical, communication skill is preferred. Proficient in Word, Excel (must be proficient with pivot tables), Outlook, and PowerPoint is essential.
