Senior Paralegal, Litigation
The candidate will handle duties that include: Management of all operational aspects of ongoing litigation and pre-litigation matters in conjunction with both internal and external teams. This may also include oversight of subpoenas, records requests, government investigations, and various other matters that require the litigation team’s attention. Management of the legal hold processes including communications with counsel and business groups affected by various legal holds. Management of all Service of Process including personal service, service via firm registered agents, and service received via mail sources. This also includes maintaining an updated Standard Operating Procedure for service of process and providing training to all personnel who may be involved in the service of process procedures. Maintaining the litigation budget and all purchase orders with external vendors. Direct management of the Litigation Paralegal’s training and responsibilities. Indirect management of the Employment Paralegal’s training and responsibilities. Management of matter management system and relationship with vendor. Partner with the Record Retention team to: Implement corporate record retentions to all non-custodial data sources and manage all aspects of legal hold custodian communications associated with annual records clean out activities or corporate physical moves. Assisting with other matters related to litigation file generation and administration. Assisting with sensitive compliance investigations to ensure integrity and fairness.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have ability to interact with executive level employees knowledgably and in a highly professional manner. Must have superior personal integrity and ethics, including an exceptional sense of discretion. Must have ability to manage other employees and provide guidance and direction regarding corporate priorities. Must have ability to work independently and help team members manage their priorities. Should have excellent written and oral communication skills. Should have excellent organizational and time management skills are necessary.
