Mid-level Litigation AssociateThe candidate should have a solid academic background and a J.D. degree. Must have 4-6 years of general commercial litigation experience. Deposition and case management experience is required. Should have experience with restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation, breach of contract and/or class action consumer defense (preferably data privacy/cybersecurity) matters. Must be admitted in Illinois or taking steps to become admitted in Illinois. Must be in good standing with the ARDC of the Supreme Court of Illinois, and/or relevant State Bar. Should also have strong research and brief writing skills.

Don't feel overwhelmed at first, because it's a pretty chill environment once you get used to the intense workflow.
Pros : I started at Vedder Price, P.C. 4 years ago and I'm sure I made the right choice. Management is very understanding and will do whatever they can to help you succeed.Cons : There is a huge workload and sometimes it seems like it will never end. But they understand that there are only so many hours in the day.
