Atlanta office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks mid- to senior-level associate attorney with 5-7 years of experience. The candidate will be a member of the DADM Group?s national Privacy Governance and Technology Transactions Team, working with some of the world?s largest and best-known companies across a broad range of industries. Will focus on counseling clients on how to reduce or eliminate privacy and security risk through rigorous review of compliance programs, policies, procedures, and practices, as well as advising on strategic approaches to mergers, acquisitions, and commercial technology transactions, including enterprise-level agreements on both customer and vendor side. Have an opportunity to collaborate on a wide variety of matters, including compliance with state, national, and global privacy and data protection laws, cloud arrangements, licensing of technology, deals at the intersection of technology, IP, and data, and the development and implementation of sophisticated emerging technology solutions involving AdTech, biometrics, and AI. Should have experience advising on the best practices for technology transactions. Must have experience with drafting and negotiating agreements regarding cloud services, technology infrastructure, data ownership, privacy, and other key issues that arise when companies do business together. Should have experience providing proactive privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance advice. Experience drafting and revising privacy policies, website terms of use and service, privacy notice and consent materials, employee privacy training programs, and data protection impact assessment frameworks needed. Previous law firm experience required, principal focus on privacy compliance and technology transactions work preferred. Must be admitted to practice law in the state.
