ProfileMedical Assistance Recovery Attorney The candidate must have 3 years of experience as an attorney practicing law and providing legal services such as preparing and trying cases, advising clients, and/or interpreting laws or administrative policies. Should be admitted to the Nebraska Bar with an active license. Must have the ability to: interpret and communicate the legal effect of transactional documents; analyze the application of relevant law to specific facts; recognize the impact of developing legislation and case law on the agency and its programs; and interpret complex federal and state constitutional, statutory and regulatory law. Should also be able to provide litigation support to the agency and to the Attorney General's Office in agency cases. Experience practicing in complex areas of the law is desired. Experience in Medicaid, probate, bankruptcy, real estate and collections is preferred.
