ProfileCommercial Attorney Duties: Negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including client, vendor, software licensing, real estate, confidentiality, and other agreements and maintain templates that comply with company policies and applicable law. Advise senior management on various aspects of applicable law. Support for client disputes, third party claims, and litigation cases. Assist in ensuring compliance with external requirements, such as HIPAA, GDPR, privacy, and other compliance related statutes and standards. Process, review, and help manage legal requests and inquiries from various departments and regions Partner with finance, operations, human resources, sales, marketing and other departments Provide legal research and other due diligence.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: JD Degree and Massachusetts Bar admission (pending admission may be considered). 7-10 years of experience in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal team Experience with contract and commercial law and experience in drafting and negotiating agreements, as well as data protection, and M&A. Software or other high-tech experience preferred. Experience with employment law matters Flexibility and willingness to work on a wide and changing variety of matters. Ability to triage multiple demands, shifting priorities and rapid change. Team player with an infectious positive attitude and fun to be around; Calm, balanced, and precise Self-motivated with ability to work proactively and independently in active, fast-paced environment. Comfort developing strong relationships through partnership in day-to-day interactions. Proficiency at the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SalesForce, SpringCM and CPQ experience preferred.
