Counsel - Employment The candidate: manages a high volume caseload of agency charges relating to employment matters (EEOC, DOL, state human rights agencies) as well as other healthcare compliance matters (OSHA, OCR). Prepares responses to such charges providing relevant information and documentation to defend the companyâ€™s position against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliatory discharge and/or alleged wage and hour violations, as needed. Coordinates and represents the company in mediation efforts when appropriate. Reviews and/or prepares employment related documents including but not limited to employment agreements, staffing contracts and settlement agreements. May coordinate issues with outside counsel for litigation, administrative and regulatory matters as needed. Should have Law Degree with 3+ years of experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential. Must have 3+ years of employment law experience as an attorney and be admitted into the state Bar.
