International Trade Attorney The candidate should have experience in the following: Broad international trade experience servicing corporate clients to include import and export laws, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions, customs law, trade and compliance regulations, assisting clients with violations and corrective actions, knowledgeable in the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and experience representing clients before the interagency Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS); Experience and a successful track record of results practicing before the United States Court of International trade; Experience coaching junior attorneys on presentation strategies and techniques. Participating and overseeing pitches and presentations to business clientele; and Leading, managing, motivating, recruiting, mentoring and developing business opportunities and initiatives for the Houston office. Must have 5 years of international trade experience. Should have portable book of business of $200,000.00 per annum. Must have previous experience successfully generating revenue. Must have demonstrated supervisory experience, ability to manage attorneys as the practice grows, including attorneys in other firm offices. Must be a member of the bar in the state of Texas in good standing.
