Assistant Attorney General - New Graduate Jobs Login Jefferson City, MO, USA Full Time Assistant Attorney General New Graduate - Class of 2022/2023 The Missouri Attorney General's Office is committed to providing the highest quality legal representation to the six million Missourians who call our State home. We are looking for new attorneys, recent graduates, or current 3Ls with excellent credentials who are interested in making a difference in the State to join our Class of 2022 or 2023 Assistant Attorneys General. Class positions are open to those licensed for less than one year, recent graduates, and current 3Ls. Class members start with other newly barred attorneys and receive additional training and individualized mentorship. Openings will be available in a variety of sections within the Civil and Criminal Divisions. The Civil Division sections include Financial Services (recovery of money owed to the state), Consumer, Litigation (civil defense), Labor (workers' compensation), and Governmental Affairs. The Criminal Division sections include Criminal Appeals, Medicaid Fraud, Public Safety (special prosecutions, habeas, and sexually violent predator unit), and Cold Case. A description of these sections may be found at: . Placement of new attorneys is based on both need and preference. New attorney positions are based in Jefferson City, Missouri. Anticipated start date for the Class of 2023 is mid-August 2023. Class of 2022 candidates may start at any time. The Office will also consider new graduates for an earlier start date as needed.
